A PERSONAL METHOD

Ease takes time. Calm has room to grow.

The ABYSS method builds a dry practice programme in stages, based on your validated comfortable reference and the session difficulty you report.

THE ABYSS APPROACH

Progress without rushing.

ABYSS starts with your intention, offers dry sessions and adjusts your programme to your feedback. Comfort and recovery come before performance.

01

Choose your intention

Find my calm, develop my breath-holding or both. You can change this choice in your profile.

02

Find your pace

Choose the programme length and your weekly schedule. The first sessions are deliberately approachable.

03

Notice how you feel

After the session, report its difficulty. This feedback helps adapt the sessions that follow.

YOUR STARTING POINT

A comfortable reference, not a record.

The comfortable reference, or RC, is a comfortable breath-hold duration confirmed through the calibration protocol. A single exploration is not enough to validate it. It may stay the same, increase or decrease.

A dedicated validation

RC does not come from the total player time or a longer free breath-hold. The Journal shows when it was validated.

YOUR FEEDBACK MATTERS

Two feelings, two purposes.

Session difficulty and your sense of calm are two separate pieces of information.

Session difficulty

A five-position touch scale helps adjust the programme. A difficult session is a reason to slow down or recover.

Your sense of calm

An optional assessment before and after the session records how you feel. It never increases breath-hold durations on its own.

ROOM FOR BREAKS

Rest is part of the programme.

A free session does not artificially advance your programme. Recovery days keep their place. If a session is shortened or missed, return at your pace without trying to make it up.

Take a break without breath-holding

Calm breaks use natural breathing. They remain separate from breath-hold training.
